Dagupan to purchase motorized garbage bins
TO strengthen the implementation of the environmental and sanitation programs in the city’s villages, the Liga Ng Mga Barangay and Mayor Benjamin S. Lim have entered into a memorandum of agreement for the release of P100,000 for the purchase of one three-wheeled -motorized garbage bin called “garong” for each barangay.
The city extended financial assistance to the Liga subject to liquidation immediately upon spending.
City Administrator Vladimir Mata said the fund was taken from the local development fund of the city.
Ex-Officio Councilor and Liga President Guillermo P. Vallejos of Poblacion Oeste led the Liga in signing the MOA at the city mayor’s office. (CIO/JCB)
