CSC launches “lingkod bayani” essay contest
“AS a ‘lingkod bayani,’ how can you contribute to and ensure a gender responsive, accessible, courteous and effective public service?”
This is the question that the Civil Service Commission (CSC) poses for the nationwide essay writing contest launched in line with the 112th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary in September.
The contest is open to all government employees, regardless of status, except CSC employees and their relatives within the third degree of consanguinity or affinity. Those employed under job order or contract of service are not qualified.
Entries, written in English or Filipino and not exceeding 900 words, must be original and never been printed nor submitted for other government-sponsored contests.
Entries may be submitted to the CSC office office at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City or e-mailed to essay_2012@yahoo.com.ph. Deadline is August 3.
For more information, contact Bernardita Erpelo or Cynthia Mangosing at telephone numbers (2) 9320181 / 9512639 / 9512637. (PIA-Pangasinan with report from CSC)
