Lim again vows to stop illegal drug trade
MAYOR Benjamin S. Lim has again promised to stop at nothing to end the illegal drug trade that continues to thrive in Dagupan City.
“I want to see [Dagupan] as a drug-free city but I cannot do it alone… We need to help each other,” Lim said Lim during the city government employees’ flag ceremony held at the city plaza last June 18 with the signing of the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign Ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement.
“This is day one. Let’s count the days of those who push drugs. Pasensyahan na lang po tayo,” warned Lim.
He also pledged additional funding for the law enforcing agencies as support for their operations and to put up rehabilitation centers to aid victims.
Lim reiterated that the stakeholders will work closely with barangay officials for they know who the pushers in their locale are. (CIO)
