4 drug dealers nabbed in Manaoag, Urdaneta
FOUR illegal drug dealers were arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 1 (PDEA RO1) in two separate operations in the province last June 7 and 8.
Bothers Antonio and Joni Enriquez were collared in a buy-bust operation in a makeshift hut in front of their residence at Zone 3, Babasit, Manaoag.
The 44-year old Antonio handed a plastic sachet containing shabu to a PDEA RO1 agent while his younger brother Joni, who initiated the transaction through text messages, accepted the marked money.
Recovered from the suspect’s possession were four carefully concealed plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P2,000 pesos and P500 marked bill.
The illegal drugs recovered were supposed to be delivered to awaiting customers.

The same PDEA RO1 team apprehended in another buy-bust operation live-in partners Asliah Dindongan and Mohammad Dibaratan at their residence in Barangay Nancayasan, Urdaneta City.
“This is an awful tragedy, the guy is only 21 years old while his partner just 18 years old, their future is not supposedly spent in jail. They should have had enough common sense to realize the consequence of their decisions,” said PDEA RO1 Director Edgar S. Apalla.
Confiscated from the couple were seven plastic sachets of shabu street valued at about P3,500, plus the P500 marked money.
All suspects have been charged with violations of Sections 5 and Section 26 of Republic Act9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
If found guilty, the suspects face possible life imprisonment with a P500,000 to P10 million fine.
