Search on for UPAI’s Miss Pangasinan 2012-2014

THE search is on for the Miss Pangasinan 2012-2014 sponsored by the United Pangasinanes of America, Inc..

Heading the search is the Executive Committee led by Jose Pepe Rosario (chairman), Pacita Aningalan (co-chairwomen) and Lorette De Veas and President Chris Torres as ex-officio member.

The search requires a candidate to be of Pangasinan ancestry and may be sponsored by the City or Town organization(s) of the Province of Pangasinan. The deadline for registration of candidates will be on June 4, 2012.

The selection process involves two (2) phases. The first phase, Talent Competition, will be held during the “Presentation of Candidates and Dance” on July 8, 2012, at the Grosvenor Hotel in South San Francisco, California. The final phase of the selection, the proclamation and coronation, will be held during the Pangasinan Day Dinner and Ball on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the South San Francisco Conference Center, 255 So. Airport Boulevard, South San Francisco, California.

Miss Pangasinan will reign for two (2) years and shall act as the goodwill representative of the UPAI in all social functions to which she is officially invited. She automatically becomes a Life Member of the United Pangasinanes of America, Inc. She will receive the Special Prize, a round trip ticket to the Philippines, two-night hotel accommodation in Manila and three-night accommodation in Lingayen, Pangasinan. A courtesy call will be arranged with the Hon. Governor, Amado T. Espino, Jr.
