THE Bangus Festival 2012 Gilon Gilon champion contingent from Barangay Lucao travelled up north to participate in the Pattaradday Festival in Santiago City, Isabela.

The group was part of the grand opening parade that kicked off the festivities on May 5, featuring street dancers from different cities all over Region I as well as Candaba and Iloilo, among others.

“Marakep!” was how Santiago City Mayor Amelita S. Navarro, a native of Lingayen, described the Dagupan performance.

According to Solano, the Lucao contingent was sent by Dagupan Mayor Benjamin S. Lim as the city’s ambassadors of goodwill. (CIO)
