ALAMINOS CITY–One person was killed and another was wounded when they were fired upon by the occupants of a black car that they were overtaking along the national road in Barangay Alos while on a motorcycle on the night of May 14.

The fatality was identified as Julius Bandola of Barangay Quibuar, Alaminos City. Wounded was Raymond Aquino, 23, driver of the motorcycle.

The incident ensued when they overtook the black car along the highway, then the car’s driver responded by immediately overtaking them as well. As the motorcycle riders tried to overtake the car again, the men in the car opened fire with a hand gun just as the motorcycle was passing on their side.

Bandola was hit in the back with the bullet going through and through in his body. The same bullet was believed to have hit Aquino in the back.

Bandola was pronounced dead on arrival at the Alaminos Doctors Hospital where Aquino was also rushed and he was later transferred to the Western Pangasinan District Hospital due to his critical condition.
