Malasiqui sees progress with infra projects

FOLLOWING the road-widening project along the national highway in Malasiqui, the town has seen the growth of businesses and the municipality’s economy is moving forward.

Mayor Armando Domantay said the road project, financed by the development fund of 3rd District Representative Rachel “Baby” Arenas, has made access to and from the municipality easier, paving the way for increased economic activities.

Other infrastructure projects that are ongoing include the construction of Quintants Bridge and the three-storey legislative building annex.

Domantay said the silted Imbalbalolong River is also now being dredged to clear the waterways.

“If 2011 was a year of implementing various projects for the development of our town, 2012 is the year of reaping the fruits of all labor we planned for the welfare of our constituents,” Domantay said.
