Firearms, ammo cache seized in Natividad
NATIVIDAD–Joint elements of the police seized a cache of firearms and ammunition in a raid on a house in Barangay San Macario here last April 18.
The owner of the house, Carlito Gagarin, was not home when the raid was conducted by elements of the Provincial Police Public Safety Company based in Tayug and the Natividad Police Station based on the search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Ulysses Raciles Butuyan.
Seized by lawmen were two homemade shotguns with five live ammunition, one Cal. 30-carbine rifle with one magazine assembly, 10 live ammunition, one Cal. 45 machine pistol with two magazine assembly and 20 live ammunition, three short and one magazine assemblies for Cal. 5.56/M16 and 20 live ammunition for Cal. 5.56/M16.
