Women’s Council in San Carlos inducted
SAN CARLOS CITY—Officers of the Local Council for Women here were inducted on March 8, International Women’s Day, at the Arenas-Resuello Sports Complex.
The council is chaired by Suzanne de Dios Resuello, also the president of the San Carlos City First Ladies League.
Council members are Adriana Rosario (senior citizens), Gemma Banaag (VP, SCC First Ladies League), Cristita Dale (Secretary FLL), Edna Reyes (market vendors association ), Priscilla Castaneda (Day Care worker ), Marlene Vinoya (R.I.C.), Ma. Luisa Novilla (Gender and Development), Dr. Amelia Cayabyab (SP Chairwoman, Women and Family), Dr. Luisa Cayabyab (Reproductive Health Unit CHO), Dr. Lilia Juan ( VMUF President ), Maximina Solomon (CWL president, SCC ) lawyers Cristine Ferrer and Ma. Diana Arenas Rosal, Filipinas Sotto (GSP president, SCC), Carmelita Macalanda (BSPO), Erika Chanell Dale (SK representative).
Dr. Estrella Valerio, dean of the College of Medicine at the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation, guest of honor and speaker, stressed the crucial role of women in social development.
