Sual police chief, 3 others relieved over kidnapping charges
LINGAYEN–The chief of police of Sual and three of his men were relieved of their posts after they were implicated in a case of kidnapping perpetrated in a still unknown town on a still unidentified victim.
Relieved and placed on a floating status at the Personnel Holding Administration Office of the Police Provincial Office are Senior Inspector Leo Llamas, chief of police of Sual, and three of his men whose names the authorities are still withholding.
This was validated by a report that quoted Superintendent Michael Nicolas, Deputy Police Provincial Director for administration, confirming that Llamas and three of his subordinates are now at the Personnel Holding Area in Lingayen.
However, Nicolas did provide the details of the kidnapping case, which is now being investigated by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
The CIDG is set to forward the case against the four police personnel before the Department of Justice.
