SP hails top PMA Graduate

LINGAYEN—Members of the provincial board headed by Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Z. Calimlim, Jr. approved during their regular session last March 19 Provincial Resolution No. 1232-2012 congratulating 2nd Lt. Rone Jo Manganaan of Rosales town for being one of the ten outstanding graduates of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Bagwis” Class of 2012.

Board Member Alfonso Bince, who authored the resolution, said Manganaan exemplifies the story of a Pangasinense PMA cadet who passed the rigid screening and has undergone the most difficult trainings and academic tests and eventually earned the 9th rank in the PMA graduation last March 18.

Bince said Manganaan will serve as a role model and inspiration to younger Pangasinenses who wants to enter PMA and become successful in the field of military or political service.

“Making it to the top ten of his class is a rare distinction,” he said.

Earlier, Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr., a member of PMA Class 1972, commended the young soldier as he said that Pangasinenses have continuously performed a cut above the rest in various fields proving their excellence.
