Region I’s 200-man delegation ready
PRISAA NATIONAL GAMES
THE Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) Region I has completed its 200-man delegation of athletes, players, coaches and staff who will participate in the 2012 PRISAA national Games set in Cebu City on March22-28.
Composed mostly of tertiary students from universities and colleges in Dagupan and San Carlos Cities in Pangasinan, San Fernando in La Union, and Laoag in Ilocos Norte, the delegation will vie for the 1,200 gold, silver and bronze medals at stake.
The Region 1 team will participate in 13 of the 19 team and individual events, including athletics, badminton, chess, dance sports, beach volleyball, volleyball, karatedo, swimming, table tennis, basketball, boxing, and taekwondo.
There will also be a search for the Mutya ng PRISAA 2012 wherein a student from the Lyceum-Northwestern University in Dagupan City will represent the region.—Philamer Celi
