Re-enactment of Crucifixion on San Fabian Hill
A MULTI-awarded group of artists will stage a re-enactment of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and crucifixion on top of a hill in Barangay Colisao, San Fabian on April 7 (Black Saturday) in observance of the Lenten season.
The cast under the direction of Manuel Ubedencia will portray Lord Jesus Christ and the outlaws who were nailed to the cross 2,000 years ago.
The cast was invited by Dr. Robin Navarro, founder and preacher of God’s Word under the Ministry of Reconciliation and Ambassadors of Christ.
The re-enactment, titled, “Golgotha”, will depict Jesus’ sacrifice for mankind by giving up his life.
Golgotha, Hebrew word for ‘place of the skull’, is a place in Jerusalem where Jesus was nailed to the cross.
