Medical mission held in Dagupan
OVER 2,000 indigents in Dagupan availed of the free medical services offered by “Operation Bigay Lunas” sponsored by the city government and Mercury Group of Companies on March 1 at the People’s Astrodome.
The project was part of the 14th founding anniversary celebration of the drugstore chain nationwide.
Dr. Aurora Cuison of the CHO said the number of beneficiaries were allocated based on the population of the villages while the barangay chairmen were given the authority to determine who needed the service the most.
Cuison added that walk-in patients were also accommodated.
Lending support to the event were the Pangasinan Medical Society (PMS) and international medicine-manufacturer Glaxo Smith Kleine. (CIO)
