KBP journalism seminar set May 6
THE Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP)-Pangasinan chapter will conduct a Broadcast Journalism Seminar on March 24 at the Asian Fisheries Academy Hall in Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City.
KBP-Pangasinan chapter president, Bernie Errasquin, said the seminar is open to all media practitioners and journalism students.
One of the topics will be “Do’s and Don’ts in Covering Sports Events” in preparation for the Palarong Pambansa, which will be held in Pangasinan on May 6 -12.
This topic will be handled by Rick Yap Santos, broadcast production supervisor and sports caster at the Philippine Broadcast Service radio station DZSR while KBP Legal Counsel Atty. Reggie Jularbar will talk on “Updates on the Broadcast Code.”
A tour of the Seafoods Processing Plant in Dagupan is also scheduled.
