Job fairs set starting March

A SERIES of job fairs will be organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) in Pangasinan as part of a region-wide program to help potential employees find work within the country or abroad.

DOLE information Officer Arly Valdez announced that the tentative dates and corresponding venues for March are the 8th at the Urdaneta City University for local employment and the 23rd at the Narciso Ramos Gymnasium in Lingayen.

In April, the dates and venues are: April16 at the Provincial Employment Services Office (PESO) in Manaoag (local and overseas), and April 26 at the PESO Office in Infanta (local and overseas).

On May 1, jobseekers can go to the SM City in Rosales and on June 12 again at the Narciso Ramos Gymnasium.

The job fairs will be participated in by 25 local employers and 35 licensed recruitment agencies for overseas employment.

The invited local employers are: Addessa Corporation, Archway Multi-services Corporation, Bamcor, Banco San Juan, BHF Corporation, Digitel, EEI Corporation, Isonn Marketing, Marand Resort and Spa, Napintas Logistics Distribution, Inc., Pancake House, Inc./Chowking, Peer Marketing Motor Sales Corporation, Puyat Steel, Rang-ay Bank, Saver’s Print Marketing, Splash, United Coconut Planters Life, Universal Leaf Phils., Welform Trading Corporation, Experts, Inc., Sitel Phils., Sutherland Global Services, The American Institute, TSPI Development Corporation, and Trust International Paper Corporation.

DOLE Regional Director Grace Y. Ursua said the job fairs are jointly organized with the local government units, PESOs, academe, private institutions, local employers and licensed recruitment agencies.

Jobseekers must bring their application letter, resumé, 2” x 2” pictures, employment certificates, if any, training certificates and other proofs of credentials.(PIA-Pangasinan with report from DOLE)
