Divino Tesoro renovation gets help from Pinaglabanan Church
PARISHIONERS of the St. John the Baptist Parish, more popularly known as Pinaglabanan Church, in San Juan, Manila have contributed to the fund-raising project for the renovation of the Cristo Divino Tesoro Parish (CDTP) in Calasiao.
The donation was made through “FOCUS: Foto for a CaUSe”, wherein for every contribution of P1,300, donors will get a 12×8 framed inspirational picture with bible verses.
The photos are taken by CDTP parish priest Rev. Fr. Manuel delos Santos Jr.
The five-storey Cristo Divino Tesoro structure, a popular pilgrimage site, was partly burned and renovation work has been left unfinished since five years ago.
The Stewardship Team of the parish, headed by Engr. Nelson Maynigo, said they are really grateful for the “warm welcome and overflowing” support of the parishioners of the Pinaglabanan Church and the whole community of San Juan under the governance of Mayor Gia Gomez.–Sher Pauline Palola
