Aspiring accountants take mock CPA exam

THE most number of examinees for the Annual National Mock CPA Board Exam held February 12-13 nationwide came from Region 1 with 326, of which 186 were from Pangasinan.

The participating schools from the province include University of Pangasinan-PHINMA, University of Luzon, Lyceum-Northwestern University, Kingfisher School of Business and Finance, National Adventist College, Colegio de Dagupan, and Philippine Accountancy Science School.

The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA) organized the mock exam in partnership with CRC-ACE Review Center to help JPIAns prepare for the actual CPA Board Exam.

Examinees tested their knowledge on the seven CPA Board exam subjects, namely: Theory of Accounts, Business Law and Taxation, Management Advisory Services, Auditing Theory, Auditing Problems, Practical Accounting Problems I, and Practical Accounting Problems II.

Checking of the exam will be centralized at NFJPIA and results will be released to the examinees through letter.
