Alaminos hosts mass wedding on V-Day
THE annual Mass Wedding in Alaminos City, held on Valentine’s Day, joined in wedlock 115 couples this year.
Mayor Hernani Braganza attended the ceremony where Customs Commissioner for Intelligence Danilo Lim stood as godfather to newly married couples.
The city government sponsors the event, including a feast for the newly-weds and gifts, annually.
Last year, a special “underwater wedding” was held for some couples at the Hundred Islands National Park, the city’s main attraction.–Jaca Tagulao
