THE Basketball Association of the Philippines Region I conducted a three-day Seminar-Clinic on the “New Rules of Basketball and Accreditation of Referees” on January 27-29 at the University of Luzon in Dagupan with BAP national commissioner Gil Reglo as resource person and facilitator.

Designed to update court and table officials as well as other sports officials on the new FIBA rules of basketball, the clinic was attended by some 130 new and senior referees from Region I.

It was also attended by municipal sports coordinators and Sangguniang Kabataan chairmen.

This was the second of a series of seminars organized and conducted by the BAP-R1 with its current director, Dagupan Vice Mayor Belen T. Fernandez.

The first seminar was conducted in Candon City, Ilocos Sur.—Philamer Celi
