Team Pangasinan competes in Batang Pinoy Nat’l Games
LINGAYEN- -Team Pangasinan, composed of 20 athletes, left for Camarines Sur Thursday to compete in this year’s Batang Pinoy National Championships slated from December 10 to 13.
The 20 athletes excelled in the regional leg competitions in Baguio City last November 24 to 27, bringing home gold and silver medals in various sporting events like swimming, basketball, table tennis and taekwondo.
Provincial Administrator Rafael F. Baraan urged the young Pangasinan athletes to give their best shot and continue to reap gold medals for the pride for the province.
The youth athletes received cash incentives for their efforts at the regional competition from the provincial government before their departure to Camarines Sur.
Baraan, who represented Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. in distributing the cash incentives, said the province is truly proud of the athletes.

Swimming- Randel Cardinoza, Kathrina Mae Manzon, Ciren Morales, Limuel Munoz, Lariane Mary Ho Muyalde, Larraine Love Muyalde, Glorieta Krean Jean Platilla, Sandro Poquiz, and Matthew Vinluan.
Table tennis- John Mark Caranto, Chyra Amor Morillo, Alyssa Jea Opolencia and Jervir Soriano.
Taekwondo- Jean Ralph Aquino, Breniel Estrada and Ma. Teodorica Sorel.
Basketball (girls) – Shanda Angelica Anies, Trixie Alison Mamaril, Valerie Mae Mamaril and Princess Noor Sison.
