Dagupan honors retired employees

FOR the first time, several Dagupan employees who have bowed out from service at the compulsory retirement age of 65 were given recognition during the Employees’ Night on December 23, one of the events for the city fiesta celebration.

The plaques of recognition distributed by Mayor Benjamin Lim were “in recognition of the retirees’ invaluable services to the city, having contributed meritoriously to the attainment of the city government’s development goals”.

Remedios Vidal, executive assistant IV at the city mayor’s office, was cited as the “golden employee” for having served the city for almost 50 years

Vidal is now a technical consultant at the city mayor’s office.

Other honorees with their corresponding years in service were: Jesusa De Francia, 41; Minda Fernandez, 37; Erlinda Ramos, 37; Santos Dela Torre, 36; Jesus Aguilar, 35; Felisa Mendoza, 34; Remedios Velasco, 34; Francisca Sangalang, 31;Aquilino Pastoral Jr., 29; Jorge Estrada, 28; Orlando L. Fernandez, 18; Jaime Biay, 16; and Josefina Mendoza, 16. (CIO)
