CDRRMC recruits more rescuers

ADDITIONAL rescuers have been recruited by the City Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Council (CDRRMC) and recently undergone the Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) training at the Tondaligan beach in barangay Bonuan Gueset.

The 30 new recruits were joined by the eight resident WASAR personnel in the capacity-building workshop.

Facilitating the capacity-building workshop were officers from the Headquarters Naval Forces Northern Luzon-Naval Special Operations Group (NAVSOG2), spearheaded byCommanding Officer Juan Tarroza.

Assisting the instructors in the training were the council’s technical working group members. (CIO)
