UL president re-elected APSCU regional chief
UNIVERSITY of Luzon president Dr. Macarthur Samson Sr. expressed his readiness to lead anew the Association of Private Schools, Colleges and Universities (APSCU) following his re-election on November 17 as the group’s regional president for the next two years.

Also elected were Dr. Elita Valdez (Divine Word College of Vigan) as vice president for Higher Education; Elsa Unson (San Carlos College), VP for Technical–Vocational Education; Mario Zamoranos (Gifted Learning Center), VP for Basic Education; Dr. Rebeccah Kathleen Vidal (Joyland School), Treasurer; Demetria Mercado (Juan Luna Memorial Academy), Auditor; Dr. Marina Abella (Fund for Assistance to Private Education), Business Manager; Rex Lor (Escuela Nuestra Senora de La Sallette) and Elizabeth Camara (Lorma Colleges), PROs.
The elected Board of Directors are Dr. Efren Abulencia (University of Luzon), Elmo Olermo (Agno Kiddie School Inc.), Everlita Quinto (Diocesan Seminary of the Heart of Jesus), Dr. Maria Lilia Juan (VMUF), Maria Rondon (Cabugao Institute), Gregora De Guzman (QMA), Lowynne Susannah Pidlaoan (Our Lady of Grace School San Carlos), Lourdes Garcia (Great Plebian College), Jimmy Ramos (Gov. Roque B. Ablan Sr. Memorial Academy), and Roy Pandaraoan (Roosevelt High School).
Samson said APSCU will continue to strengthen its ranks through greater collaboration and partnerships by tapping into the insights and experiences of more private educators throughout the region.
