PBA players, actors to join LNU Goodwill Games
PLAYERS from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and TV personalities will join the Basketball Goodwill Games and Entertainment of the Lyceum-Northwestern University (LNU) on November 29.
The event will feature a basketball game between the LNU Dukes varsity team and a team of actors and PBA players including Danny Ildefonso, Marlo Aquino, and Lordy Tugade.
Faculty members will also compete against the university’s employees.
The actors, including Bayani Agbayani, will also perform entertainment numbers, and candidates for Miss Dagupan 2011 will be feted between games.
Other expected showbusiness personalities are Emilio Garcia, Christopher Roxas, Eric Fructuoso.
Tickets (P200 and P500) are available at the University Student Government office and at the Jollibee Lucao branch.
Jellica Manuel, editor-in-chief of ULNOS, the official student publication of LNU, said the proceeds will be used for the landscaping of the new LNU façade and renovation of the basketball varsity barracks, while the rest will be spent for future projects of the student government. (PIA-Pangasinan)
