VM Fernandez promotes Dagupan Bangus in the U.S.

VICE Mayor Belen Fernandez and some members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Dagupan promoted not only the city of Dagupan but also its chief agricultural product, bangus, during their recent visit to the United States.

The SP members included Councilor Jeslito Seen, chairman on the committee on trade and industry; Councilor Alvin Coquia, chairman on agriculture and land use; and Councilor Alfie Fernandez, chairman on the committee on tourism as well as laws and ordinances.

Bringing with them samples of vacuum-packed boneless bangus, the delegation discussed with various groups, including businessmen, the feasibility of exporting Dagupan bangus processed and packed at the Korea- Philippines Seafood Processing Plant in Barangay Bonuan Binloc to the US.
