UL hosts youth plan consultation
THE University of Luzon (UL) in Dagupan will host on August 8 the regional consultation for the formulation of its Philippine Youth Development Plan (PYDP).
Inputs from the discussion, organized by the National Youth Commission (NYC), will be included in the PYDP, which will be part of the recently approved Philippine Development Plan of 2011-2016.
Armando Angeles of NYC Northern Luzon said the PYDP wants a participatory process in identifying key issues and opportunities, enabling condition, proposed strategies and policies which the government and other stakeholders should further create for the youth.
The consultation will also list activities and ideas that the youth can contribute for the improvement of the economy of local communities. (PIA-Pangasinan)
