Milo Little Olympics plays at NRSCC

LINGAYEN—The Milo Little Olympics for Regions I, II, III and the Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR) concludes today after three days of games at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center here.

Hundreds of young athletes are participating in the annual event sponsored by Nestle Philippines Inc. in cooperation with the provincial government of Pangasinan, Philippine Olympic Committee, and the Department of Education Regions I, II, III and CAR.

The sports competitions include athletics, badminton, chess, football, gymnastics, lawn tennis, sepak takraw, scrabble, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo and volleyball.

Tess Bernardino, Milo sports director for Northern Luzon, described the event as an “active partnership of government and non-government entity” for youth and sports development as she thanked the provincial government under the leadership of Gov. Amado Espino Jr. for its all-out support. (PIO)
