Visually impaired student reads during SM City Rosales reading day
PERSONS with Disabilities (PWDs) participated as listeners and reader during the National Children’s Book Reading Day last July 19 at the SM City Rosales.
Jaeline Mina, a visually impaired education student of Colegio de Dagupan, used a brail book sharing the story “Bahaghari” to children from Sta. Barbara Day Care Center, Tomana Elementary School SPED center, and Rosales-Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center.
Book donations were also distributed to the participating schools.
The event was held in partnership with the Department of Education, National Development Board, Inquirer Read Along, Vibal Publishing, BDO foundation and SM foundation.
