Masons set students debate seminar July 30
THE Pangasinan Lodge No. 56 of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines will conduct a free seminar-workshop on the parliamentary form of debate on July 30 at the Lodge Temple, Tondaligan Park in Dagupan City.
A select group of high school and college students and their core advisers from schools within Pangasinan have been invited to the event which is aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills on discourse and discussion.
Members of and alumni debaters from the University of the Philippines Debate Society and the Mariano Marcos State University will be the resource persons and facilitators of the seminar.
The event is in preparation of the inter-schools debate festival in September this year under the auspices of the Pangasinan Lodge in the cooperation with the Department of Education and the Commission on Higher Education.– Philamer C. Celi
