CLIENTS of closed Banco Filipino Savings and Mortgage Bank (BF) branch in Dagupan with deposits of P10,000 and below but do not receive check payments by June 20 will have to file their deposit insurance claims.

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) reported last week that it has already released all payments for depositors with balances of P10,000 and below except for those who have incomplete names and addresses on record.

PDIC Officer-in-Charge and Executive Vice President Cristina Orbeta said more than 25,000 accounts of the bank with balances of P10,000 and below were found to have incomplete names and addresses or no addresses on record.

These claims shall be processed during the scheduled claims settlement operations (CSO) for Banco Filipino in designated CSO sites.

For more detailed information, claimants may visit PDIC website (www.pdic.gov.ph).
