Top Binmaley pusher falls

LINGAYEN–A notorious drug pusher in Binmaley was arrested by joint elements of the police at 2:00 p.m. on May 11 in a buy-bust operation at the Rizal Plaza located in the town Poblacion.

Roldan Dalisay, alias “Hapon”, 29, was caught red-handed with illegal drugs in an operation conducted by police operatives from the Binmaley Police and the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Group in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Region 1.

Superintendent Geraldo Roxas, chief of the Police-Community Relations Office, said Dalisay is included in the drug watch list of the local police.

Seized from the suspect were three heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu and a P500 bill.

The suspect is now in jail pending the filing of formal charges against him for violation of Republic Act No. 9165.

ALSO IN LA UNION

Meanwhile, PDEA officers from Region 1 also seized 31 plastic sachets with shabu residue from the residence of a 26-year old suspected female drug pusher in neighboring Barangay Ilocanos Norte, San Fernando La Union.

PDEA Director General Undersecretary Jose S. Gutierrez Jr. identified the suspect as Charlene May Garado who is listed under PDEA RO1’s priority target list.

The legal search also led to the discovery of two cellular phones with drug transaction text messages and several money transfer receipts and cash cards with questionable amounts.

Garado was charged with possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia.—LM
