FOURTH District Rep. Gina de Venecia will conduct more medical and dental missions in the district’s barangays in anticipation of a rise in cases of ailment particularly among children during the approaching rainy season.

The missions kicked off on May 6 and will cover all the more than 140 barangays of the 4th District, covering two or more barangays daily.

Participating in the free medical and dental services are doctors, dentists and nurses of the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City led by Director Roland Mejia with the help of personnel of rural health units. Free medicines will also be provided.

Residents of Barangay Tebeng in Dagupan City were the first to benefit from the scheduled series of medical and dental missions.

The mission is complemented by ‘Operation Tuli’, which was launched in the adjacent Barangay Caranglaan, for young boys.

The mission moved to Mangaldan on May 13 to tend to residents of Barangays Palua and Tebag, and to Barangays Sto. Tomas and Magsaysay in San Jacinto.
