DOLE sets May 1 job fair at SM Rosales
A JOB and livelihood fair organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is set at the SM City Rosales on May 1, Labor Day.
Regional Director Henry John Jalbuena said 21 local private sector employers and four licensed recruitment agencies have committed to participate in the event with some 9,000 jobs here and abroad to be offered.
Online pre-registration at www.phil-job.net for job seekers has started and will be open until April 30.
Other activities lined up for the event include the provision of special services by government agencies such business registration at the site, skills registration system, career and employment coaching, medical services, and a trade fair for existing small-scale livelihood products.
This year’s celebration of Labor Day will have the theme “Matuwid na Daan Tungo sa Kaunlaran Para sa Lahat”. (PIA Pangasinan/DOS)
