VMUF students shine 2011 Battle of ICT Wizards competition
JOHN Kenneth Samson, a sophomore student at the Virgen Milagrosa Special Science High School of the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation (VMUF) in San Carlos City, ranked 3rd in the Advanced Web Page Design competition during the recent 2011 Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) Battle of ICT Wizards.
The other VMUF finalists in the national competition were Ceftriaxone Diaz, PC Assembly; Eleazar Josh Montales, Advertorial Design using Photoshop; Marian Fatima Muñoz and Henry Dela Cruz, ICT Quiz Bee.
Neil Ericsson Caguioa, a Grade VI pupil at the Virgen Milagrosa Child Learning Center, also competed in the Web Page Design using HTML (HyperText Markup Language).
Accompanying coaches during the regional and national competitions were Emmanuel Malasan, Rohama Martinez and Milou Mercado; VMSSHS Principal Ria Caguioa and VMCLC Principal Merly Quiao.
Dr. Ma. Lilia Juan, VMUF president, congratulated the coaches and the winners for setting a new record for the university in the field of information technology.
