Omex fertilizers now in local market
LIQUID plant nutrition products, also known as suspension or emulsion fertilizers, are now available to local farmers through agricultural products distributor Jardine Distribution, Inc.
The emission fertilizers are produced by Omex Agrifluids, Ltd. of England, a division of the Omex Group, which specializes in liquid plant nutrition products for different crops.
Three Omex advanced plant nutrition products have been introduced in the Philippine market, namely Bio-20, Calmax and DP-98.
Bio-20, registered for use on crucifers, provides complete macronutrients to help crops overcome stress conditions and maximize production potential.
Calmax, a high calcium content formulation, helps improve fruit firmness, storability, colour and skin finish for more “Class A” yield. It is initially registered for use on eggplant, tomato, pepper, okra, ampalaya and squash.
DP-98 is another complete nutrient source with high phosphorus content which helps plants overcome restrictive soil conditions at critical periods.
Liquid plant nutrition products are applied through the leaves, deemed to be more efficient and provides supplementary nutritional requirements faster.
