Pozorrubio balikbayans give love on Valentine’s Day
A BARKADA from Pozorrubio who now live in different parts of the USA and Canada shared love last Valentine’s Day with the children in their hometown by donating television and DVD sets to their school.
The gifts were turned over last February 14 at the Florencio Buen Sports Center by balikbayan Agnes Mendoza Gupana and her husband Ernesto to Mayor Artemio Chan, Pozorrubio Central School (PCS) Principal, Dr. Virginia Cabero, Administrative Assistant Raymunda Amansec, teachers and about 2,200 students of the school.
The new equipment were given to the pre‐school classes, the SPED (Special Education) classes and the last sections of each level, the library, and the office of the principal.
The teachers and students held an impromptu program to express their gratitude that ending with a gift of flowers and dedication in Pangasinan.–J.Villamil
