THE members of the Pangasinense Aligwas Club in Abu Dhabi UAE recently organized for their family and friends a Fellowship and Family Fun Day.

A highlight of the occasion was the presentation and partaking of the Presidents’ Unity Bond cake by current president Ferdinand Quijalvo of Bayambang, a farm supervisor at Al Bahia, Abu Dhabi; founding president Peter Sta. Cruz of San Jacinto, currently working as civil engineer in the Ministry of Interior; Ramir Fabia of Calasiao, currently working as Data controller in Siemens Jebel Ali Dubai; Bal Junio, currently finance manager of the UAE President’s Stable.

The day of fun and games included sack race, tug of war, pass the lemon on a spoon, catch the egg, breaking the pot for kid (other pictures are available in facebook “Pangasinense Aligwas Club.) Prizes were donated by members who sponsored the games.

According to Junio, president of Bayanihan Council, the Pangasinense Club is one of the regional groups that remain solid since its founding in 2000.

The club organizes fellowship activities to celebrate Christmas, the New Year, and a member’s birthday.
