Pangasinenses top Career Service exams

TWO Pangasinenses topped some categories in the Career Service Examination (Professional and Sub-professional levels) in Region 1 held October 17 last year.

Marc Francis Perez of Carangalaan District, Dagupan City topped the Professional level with a rating of 84.53, while Lyndon Padama of Poruac, Burgos, topped the Sub-Professional level with a rating of 85.34.

The new Professionals and Sub-Professional eligibles can now be appointed to second and first level positions, respectively, in the government that are not covered by the Bar, Board or other special laws, provided that they meet the education, experience and training requirements of the positions.

There were 692 passers in Region I, comprising 11.88% of the total 5,824 examinees.

Of 692 passers, 488 or 8.38 percent were examinees for the Professional level, and 204 or 3.50 percent for the Sub-professional level.

The complete list of successful examinees can be accessed at the Civil Service Commission (CSC) website (www:csc.gov.ph).

The schedule for the awarding of Certificates of Eligibility to successful examinees are as follows: CS Professional – January 20, 2011 and CS Sub-Professional – January 21, 2011 at the CSC Regional Office No. 1, San Fernando City, La Union.
