Mount Besay Falls, next eco-tourism attraction

BUGALLON’S Mount Besay Falls will be the town’s contribution to the development and promotion of tourism in the province.

The town decided to develop Mount Besay Falls, which has seven layers of waterfalls located in Barangay Laguit Padilla, six kilometers from the town proper as an eco-tourism project.

According to the Municipal Engineering and Agricultural Office department, the plan includes the installation of a pressurized PBC type connecting Mt. Besay water falls to the to the Material Recovery System, nursery, farm fields, forestry and dumpsites, all projects awarded by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources to the Laguit Padilla Multi-Purpose Cooperative.

The development of Mount Besay Falls is for the Eco-tourism of Bugallon that would help to have a greener and healthier environment in 2011! (Guia Charissa Cerezo-cdg)
