Team Medics II is ATE-K champion
LINGAYEN–Team Medics II emerged as the overall champion in the Angguan Tan Ehersisyo Ed Kapitolyo (ATE-K) 2010 sportsfest, besting seven other teams.
Team Medics II, composed of employees from some of the government hospitals, bagged the crown after beating other teams in various events such basketball, volleyball (women), lawn tennis (men), and badminton doubles (women).
The second best team was The Generals, headed by GSO-OIC Rolando Diaz and composed of employees from the General Services Office and Pangasinan Provincial Security and Social Service Division.
In third place was Team Warriors led by PDCC executive officer Paterno Orduña with members from the Governor’s Office, Provincial Warden, Human Resources and Management Office, Housing, Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council, Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center, Provincial Employment and Services Office, Capitol Resort Hotel, Tourism, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Management Information Service Office and the Provincial Information Office.
ATE-K, a sportsfest for provincial government employees, was initiated by Governor Amado Espino Jr. in 2008 to help develop a sense of brotherhood and teamwork.
The three best teams will be given their awards on December 17 during the provincial government’s Christmas party.
