TWO stolen laptop computers were recovered by the Dagupan police and returned to the owner.

The laptops with combine value of P75,000 are owned by  Doris Joy Garcia, 45, an agriculturist, who said she suspects that these were carted away by boys from the Aling District who barged into her house through the kitchen  between 1:00 to 3:00 a.m. of September 3 by destroying the lock of a front window.

PO2 Ferdinand Lopez PO1 Brian Benavidez and PO1 Ramon Valencerina, on order of Inspector Ferdinand Lopez, chief of the Police Community Precinct 3 on Arellano, are credited for the recovery.

The laptops were found and recovered from two new owners who claimed that the computer units were sold to them at a mere P2,500 each by three teen-aged boys whom they did not  recognize.

The two could be charged for violation of the anti-fencing law once arrested.–LM
