AMAPOLA Oropilla, an alumna of Mother Goose Special Science High School (MGSSHS) and Centro Escolar University (CEU), was the 8^th placer in the recent 2010 Optometry Licensure Examination.

Ranked number 1 in the CEU Dean’s List, Oropilla was the recipient of numerous awards including the Academic Excellence Award, Leadership Award, and Award for Outstanding Research. Her thesis entitled “Comparison of Phoria Test Results Using Standard Phoropter and Modified Frame in Measuring Lateral Heterephoria,” earned the Best in Undergraduate Research given by the Integrated Philippine Association of Optometrist, 2009-2010.

Oropilla, Batch 2004 of MGSSHS, is the daughter of Engr. & Mrs. Salvador F. Oropilla, proprietors of the Malicdem Optical in Dagupan City.
