Gina De V targets 1 million trees yearly
A MILLION trees each year will be planted around the 4th District starting this month through a program initiated by Rep. Gina de Venecia.
De Venecia will set up a tree nursery at the De Venecia residence in Dagupan City.
The program will start with the planting of fire trees along the beach from Bonuan Gueset to Bonuan Binloc in Dagupan.
De Venecia said this will “lend beauty to the coastline”.
She also asked the local government units in the district to have their own tree planting program or work in conjunction with her project to bolster forest cover in the area.
