SM holds medical mission
SM Foundation, Inc., through its Health and Medical Services, conducted a Medical and Dental Mission on July 28 at SM City Rosales.
The mission provided free medical check-up, ECG, X-Ray, FBS, bone density scanning, and tooth extraction. Medication for a one month-program including vitamins were also distributed to the patients.
Beneficiaries were carefully screened and priority was given to those who cannot afford the services of a private hospital and do not have access to a health institution.
The activity was held in partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross Pangasinan Chapter, Rural Health Unit and the Department of Social Welfare and Development through the local government of Rosales, and GMA 7’s Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko.
GREEN BAGS
Meanwhile, the SM Supermalls is launching on August 6 new designs for its “Green Bag”, the environment-friendly shopping bags that consumers can use instead of plastic bags.
The new designs includes RENEW for Earth, FLOW for Water, BREATHE for Air, and SPARK for Fire, all inspired by the idea that “simple things inspire a life change”.
