CHRISTIAN YOUTH MISSION–A group of young Christians from Ebenezer Mission Church in New York is in town for a two-week outreach program in Dagupan and other parts of Pangasinan from July 9 to 23. The group, led by Virgilio Macaraeg, active Baptist Christian leader in Dagupan from the 70s to 80s, is composed mostly of American youths of Asian lineage. Even as they visit schools to talk about love of Jesus, they adopted the Lasip Grande Christian Church, donated equipment to churches, conducted mission work in rural areas, and performed a concert at the Dagupan Astrodome dubbed “Youth Explosion”. The group will pay a courtesy call on Mayor Benjamin Lim on Tuesday and will be at Aksyon Radyo program for an interview.
