CAUGHT IN THE ACT–A dump truck is caught on camera unloading sand and gravel on a portion of the Calmay River on the right side of the Jose De Venecia Expressway Extension last week, confirming reports that 888 Dagupan Properties Inc. continues to defy the Cease and Desist Order issued by the Department of Environments and Natural Resources. The illegal reclamation activity resumed only days before the Lim administration took over. Inset is Environment Management Bureau Director Joel Salvador who confirmed before the city council on July 12 that the CDO he issued on the corporation on January 15, 2009 is still valid and in effect.
