UPH grants scholarship to 11 PSU students

THE United Pangasinan of Hawaii (UPH) granted scholarships to 11 students who recently enrolled at the Pangasinan State University (PSU).

The scholars were chosen among high school graduate applicants from the province.

Fred Martinez, committee chairman and the UPH scholarship program committee, said the successful applicants were verified to have attained academic and scholastic excellence and are financially handicapped.

The scholars are entitled to a full tuition fee and all other fees required by their respective courses. In succeeding semesters, scholars with a general weighted average of 1.0 to 1.75 (or its equivalent) will receive an additional allowance while those with 2.0 to 2.50 (or its equivalent) will only continue to get the full tuition fee and other fees.
