TEAM Energy Corporation (TEC) recently presented its five new scholars for the school year 2010-2011 under its Gintong Binhi ng Karunungan Scholarship Program to Colegio de Dagupan (CdD) president Dr. Voltaire Arzadon.

TEC’s new scholars are Harold Agra (Alaminos City), Patrick John Baldovi (San Fabian), Jose Reyes, Jr. (Labrador), Percious Romasoc, Jr. (Sual) and Reinz Adriel Valdez (Sual).

The scholarship program, undertaken in partnership with the provincial government, the Pangasinan State University and CdD, provides poor but deserving Pangasinan students to pursue a full college engineering or engineering-technology education.

During the presentation of the scholars and Program Agreement signing, Arzadon expressed his appreciation to TeaM Energy for choosing CdD as one of its primary collaborators.

In a related development, Manielyn Sevillena from Sual and one of TeaM Energy Corporation’s scholars, recently graduated cum laude with a degree in B.S. Accountancy from the Saint Louis University in Baguio City.

For her exemplary academic achievement, Sevillena was awarded a certificate of commendation and a P15,000 incentive.

TeaM Energy stands for Tokyo Electric and Marubeni, one of the largest private producers of electricity in the Philippines.
